The fun, kooky, colorful KRITZELS is The Licensing Group’s new character lifestyle property for representation in North America. In an effort to get his sons to eat their bagged school lunches, graphic artist and illustrator David Laferriere drew on his great imagination and sketched a different character on each bag every day to get their attention—and it worked. Now there are more than 1,500 different “bag lunch” characters. KRITZELS has received more than 25 million views on Flickr and have been recognized by influential media outlets, blogs, online publications and websites around the world.
The Licensing Group announced that its property THE AMERICAN COLLECTION has teamed up with the charity the National Military Family Association, the largest non-profit organization supporting our military families. Licensees who chose to participate in the philanthropic program will be allowed to use a special joint mark on products and packaging. THE AMERICAN COLLECTION is a spirited collection of interpretations of a wide variety of iconic Americana symbols.

This third edition is the industry’s first book that offers a market-by-market analysis of key licensing territories around the world. “The Basics of Licensing” series is distributed in the U.S. and internationally. A Chinese-language version, which is the first book on licensing published in China, is just being released. For more information: www.basicsoflicensing.com.
