With more than thirty years of experience in licensing, Danny Simon has been responsible for numerous innovations in the licensing industry, heading up licensing departments at, Lorimar Studios, 20th Century Fox, and Carolco Pictures. For the past Seventeen years he has operated his own independent licensing agency, The Licensing Group Ltd, representing on a global basis, such properties as: T2, RAMBO, DAVID HASSELHOFF, US SECRET SERVICE, MIDWAY GAMES, and many others.

With expertise in international licensing, Danny has participated in many domestic and international licensing conferences, and for the past five years has consulted to the Hong Kong Trade Development Council on the growth of their Hong Kong Licensing Show. For the past eighteen years he has taught a college level course on licensing as part of the UCLA Extension Program. Danny is a co-founder of LIMA, the licensing industry's international trade association, and remains an active member having served as both President, and Vice President, West Coast of the organization.
